Telehealth and Virtual Appointments
Dr. Jacobson offers virtual/telehealth appointments for any patient 18 and older living in the state of Florida via Zoom. This is also called telepsychiatry.
All visits are by appointment only. After an evaluation or appointment is scheduled, Dr. Jacobson will send you a link via text or email for the Zoom appointment. Please do not activate the Zoom link until a few minutes before the appointment time. Dr. Jacobson will activate the appointment at the scheduled time.
Scheduled virtual followup appointments can be changed to phone appointments at any time, even if just before the scheduled start time. Second Opinions cannot be done by phone (audio only). Virtual appointments cannot be changed to in-office appointments without 24 hour advanced notice. Please note, insurance companies may not offer any reimbursement for phone appointments and will not reimburse for missed appointments. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.
